Bald Cypress Swamps are unique to the Southern U.S. These are areas defined by freshwater, cypress trees, lots of wildlife (many of which is deadly), and hot-steamy summers. I like to think my attraction to the swamps is similar to Hotel California. You can always come in but never leave. I feel these places with a sense of fear and also a sense of ultimate calmness where normal humans avoid. It feels good to get lost.
